After getting rained out last week, Chapman’s Can Am Motorsports Park will return to action this Friday night with an action packed schedule.  We will feature a full program of Sportsman, Pro Late Models, Pro Streets, Thunder Stocks and Novice Sportsman and we will also be joined by the Mod Lites with a regular program and their May 9th makeup feature.  The Midstate Vintage Stock Car Club is also on hand this Friday night.

We would like to invite all of our fans and competitors to wear orange on Friday night as we honor Kevin Ward Jr.  We attempted to honor him last Friday night, but Mother Nature had other plans.  Please wear orange show your support.

“Kevin and his family were great supporters of Can Am, they were one of the first to confirm participation in car shows and other events over the years”, says Can Am General Manager Alana Moncrieff.  “We hope everyone will come out and wear orange and show their support for the Ward family”.

Watertown Auto Sales, Drive America and Wells Communications will present Friday night’s events.  With the regular season coming to an end next weekend, all points and positions could be pivotal in determining our 2014 champions.

General Admission for Friday night is only $10 for adults.  Ages 13-15 will be admitted for $5.  As always, children 12 and under are admitted FREE when accompanied by an adult.  Military members are half price.  Pit Gates open at 5:15PM, Grandstand area opens at 6PM.  Racing starts at 7:30PM.
