ESS Host a Weekend Spectacular at Can-Am
LaFargeville, NY…. Caprara’s Can-Am Motorsports Park will host a The Sprint Car Weekend on Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th. The two day event will feature the Empire Super Sprints in a $2,000 to win feature. On Friday, July 3rd the DIRT Big Block Modifieds will compete in a 30 lap event with the winners share being $2,000. The SUNY Canton Street Stock Series will be joining them in a 25 lap, $1,000 to win feature. The purestocks will also be in action. On Saturday, July 4th will be the SUNY Canton Sportsman Series hosting a 30 lap feature with the winners share being $1,000.. Joining them will be the IMCA Modifieds, DIRTcar Crate Late Models, and Thunder Cars.
“The Empire Super Sprints are the best touring sprint car series in the North East,” stated Chip Burdick. “It’s really great that we are able to have them Friday and Saturday of a holiday weekend. We had a Sprint Car on the track last week and they were running 16 second laps, so I know it’s going to be a great show for the fans.”

Gates will open up at 5:00pm on Friday, July 3rd with racing beginning promptly at 7:15pm. Gates will open up at 4:30pm on Saturday, July 4th with racing beginning at 7pm. Admission into both nights racing events will be $20 for adults, children ages 10 to 14 is $5, and children 9 and under are free. Military can gain admission into the nights racing action for half price when they show a valid military ID. As always Canadian money is always taken at PAR.
