Contact: Christina Martin - CanAmKidzKlub@gmail.com Every night of racing The CanAm Kidz Klub presented by SUNY Canton will be awarding three great prizes . One winner will receive a Certificate for a Can Am Kidz Meal which includes a hot dog or hamburger, French fries and a soda along with two (2) general admission tickets for their parents for any race during the 2011 race season. The top weekly prizes are listed on our weekly Kidz Klub schedule below. Our Kidz Klub at Can-Am is for ages 12 and under. For certain events and contests we will divide the age groups up from 5 to 8 and 9 to 12. The best part is the Kidz Klub is absolutely FREE. This year we have added a lot of new and exciting prizes and events which we hope will continue to get our younger generations involved with our racing community. More prizes, drawings and events will be added throughout the racing season. The Kidz Klub will have announcements and updates on the CanAm website. Every week one winner will get the honor of driving around the CanAm race track in the pace car with their favorite driver and a photo will be taken in Victory Lane and given to the member the following week. Winners will be announced after the heat races. We will be having a monthly “Design the Race Car” contest. The monthly contest winners will then go to the finals on July 29, which a panel of Judges will pick the winner. The design will then be the new car design for Christine Martin, #81 Sportsman. The first monthly winner will be in May which will include all entries from April and May. Sat. April 30 Grand Prize: Winner and parent will ride in the pace car for one race. Class to be announced that night. 2nd place winner will get a ride and photo with your favorite driver. 3rd place winner will receive the Kidz Klub meal package. Group Event #1: The Kidz Klub members will board the Clarence Henry Coach at intermission and take laps around the race track. Group Event #2: Spring Egg Hunt starts at 5:15pm sharp. Please be at the track by 5:00pm to register. Prizes will be awarded. Kidz Klub booth will be open at 4:00pm. Fri. May 6 Grand Prize: Winner will get to flag the start of a race and have picture taken in Victory Lane with winner of that class. Picture will be available the following week at the Kidz Klub Booth. 2nd place winner will get a ride and photo with your favorite driver. 3rd place winner will receive the Kidz Klub meal package. Group Event: Homemade cupcakes will be available and SUNY Canton will provide food for members of the Kidz Klub. Fr. May 13 Grand Prize: Winner and parents will be invited to watch the feature races from the VIP Roof Deck or Tower Room depending on availability that night. 2nd place winner will get a ride and photo with your favorite driver. 3rd place winner will receive the Kidz Klub meal package. Group Event: Matt, our head flagger will be giving flagging lessons at the Kidz Klub Booth starting at 5:15pm sharp. Fri. May 20 Grand Prize: Winner and parents are welcomed into the pits before racing starts the following week. (After entering through General Admission, please come immediately to the Kidz Klub Booth to get your passes). 2nd place winner will get a ride and photo with your favorite driver. 3rd place winner will receive the Kidz Klub meal package. Group Event: Kidz Klub will be on the front stretch for the National Anthem and will start the night of racing with “DRIVERS START YOUR ENGINES”. Fri. May 27 Grand Prize: Winner and parent will ride in the pace car for one race. Class to be announced that night. 2nd place winner will get a ride and photo with your favorite driver. 3rd place winner will receive the Kidz Klub meal package. Group Event: Treasure Hunt starts at 5:15pm sharp, please be at the Kidz Klub Booth by 6:00pm to register and get your item list. Prizes to be awarded. Group Event: Mr. Patterson of ATM and Pemco will be hosting a Pizza Party for the Kidz Klub. Monthly winner of “Design the Race Car” will be chosen. Fri. June 24 TRACK IS CLOSED. Fri. July 1 Grand Prize: Winner and parent will ride in the pace car for one race. Class to be announced that night. 2nd place winner will get a ride and photo with your favorite driver. 3rd place winner will receive the Kidz Klub meal package. Group Event: Homemade Cookies will be available and intermission tour of Pit Area. Remember kidz the “SUPER SPRINT CARS” will be here. Sat. July 2 Grand Prize: Winner will get to flag the start of a race and have picture taken in Victory Lane with winner of that class. Group Event: Members can bring their parents to the races for FREE, yes we said FREE and will be able to take your family and sit in the Pavilion for the entire night of racing. Fri. Group Event: Mr. Patterson from ATM has invited all the kidz from the Kidz Klub to stand with him and the entire ATM Team on the front stretch on this special day for a tribute to all the fallen service persons that have lost their lives for us.
