PROCEDURE RULES ALL DIVISIONS:

Any rule, procedure, or condition not expressly address will be the direct decision of the track officials and will be final.

Can Am Chief Tech Official will take priority over any and all tech related rules.

In the event that any kart and or driver has been competing with a rule infraction in the past, regardless of the infraction or the length of time will have no involvement with the tech decision if found not in compliance with the rules per tech.

Any penalties assess by Can Am will be the exclusive decision of track officials.

Safety inspections will be conducted regularly, but this inspection does not deem a kart safe and free from defects and in no way offers any assurance that no problems exist. It is the obligation of the driver, owner, crew, to maintain the safety characteristics of the driver, kart and components.

Passing pre-race inspection does not guarantee post-race legality.

Can Am will determine the number of events to complete any program and maintain the authority to alter any and all, but not limited to, rules, divisions, lineup and race procedures, amount of laps in any given event.

Any division that does not produce at least 4 karts in any one race event may be, but not limited to, dropped from the program or if feasible combined with a different division.

All drivers are required to attend driver meetings. Any driver 15 years old or under must be accompanied by a delegated adult.

Any new driver may be required to demonstrate their driving skills.

All new karts along with any kart(s) that has not participated in the last three race nights must be pre-race inspected.

Officials may disallow any driver and or kart they feel is inappropriate for competition.

At any time a discrepancy arises regarding any part/component or entire kart being allowed will be the absolute decision of track officials.

Any kart that becomes overly competitive, action will be taken to determine the reason. Tech Inspectors decision is final.

Any over aggressive driving practice, as determined by track officials will not be tolerated. The kart(s) will be put to the rear, if repeated action follows at any time during the season, further penalties may be applied. Example: Any kart that has positioned either front wheel with an opposing kart’s driver seat has earned that position and is entitled as such.

Any kart that is displaying poor handling characteristics, as determined by track officials will be dealt with.

Any kart that causes 3 cautions in any 1 race or intentionally causes a caution will be dealt with.

Any kart that has been black flagged for reason(s) other than mechanical failure will receive no points for the affected event.

Any driver or kart change from original signed in status must be brought to the attention of track officials. Lineup positions are based on the driver not the kart. No driver substitutions. Any driver and or kart change must start at rear of affected heat or feature.

Driver and kart must be registered in at least one event before being allowed on the track on any race night.

The top five finishing positions in each division must report directly to the tech/scale area immediately following the affected event, with no contact with anyone. Any kart is subject to an inspection upon demand by tech at any time, any position, including did not finish.

Scoring and Lineup Procedures:

All karts must register each week. Registration will end 15 minutes before the start of the first heat race. If you are NOT registered by that time you will start at the rear of your assigned heat.

No kart is to re-enter the race under green flag conditions, you may be allowed out under the next yellow flag at the discretion of track officials.

All starts and restarts will be at the cone coming out of turn four.

All restarts will be single file.

On restarts you cannot pass until you have passed the cone.

The maximum number of karts starting the feature will be left up to the discretion of the race director-the plan is a maximum of 15.

The first race of the season all drivers will draw for heat starting positions, features will start heads up.

Handicapping will begin on the second race of the season.

Heat races will be lined up in reverse finishing order of the previous weeks feature with DNS drivers starting in front of the lineup. New karts will line up in the rear. Heats will start a maximum of eight karts. If more than eight karts are in a class we will run two or more heats.

Not all karts will qualify thru the heats those that do not qualify in the heats will run a B main or start at the end of the field behind qualified karts.

Features will be lined up by the reverse of average points earned from the previous three features for qualified karts. If a driver misses a week they will be given first place points for qualifying purposes only.
